The timer ended without a sound
Make sure your iPhone volume is turned up and Silent Mode is off. If the app is in the background, allow Dirt Road Zen notifications in iPhone Settings so the ending alert can still reach you.

Rain or road sounds are too loud
Use your iPhone volume buttons while the sound is playing. Stop the sound before switching to another one for the smoothest change.
My saved thoughts disappeared
Saved thoughts live on your device. Deleting the app or clearing its data can remove them. Try closing and reopening the app before reinstalling.
How do I stop a subscription?
Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Choose Dirt Road Zen and follow Apple’s options. Dirt Road Zen cannot cancel an Apple subscription for you.

Our approach
Dirt Road Zen is designed as an on-device wellness and reflection app. We do not require an account, and we do not sell personal information.
Information stored on your device
Your saved thoughts, daily step, reflection notes, timer preferences, streak information, selected road scene, and other app preferences may be stored locally on your device using Apple-provided storage. This information is not transmitted to us by the app.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Dirt Road Zen uses Apple’s notification system to deliver timer completion alerts. You can change notification permission at any time in iPhone Settings.
Purchases
If paid features or subscriptions are offered, purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment-card information. Apple may provide purchase status needed to unlock features or restore purchases.
Sharing
When you choose to share a thought or postcard, Apple’s share sheet lets you decide the destination. Dirt Road Zen does not automatically post content or access your contacts.
Analytics and third parties
The current version does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Apple may process limited diagnostic, App Store, purchase, and crash information under Apple’s own policies and your device settings.
Children
Dirt Road Zen is a general-audience wellness app and is not directed specifically to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data access and deletion
Because the app does not require an account and its reflection data is stored locally, you can remove that data by clearing entries in the app or deleting the app. For purchase records, use your Apple Account and App Store settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app’s features or practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will show the latest revision.
